West Alabama Schools Announce Delay Ahead of Hurricane's Impact

All Schools in West Alabama to Delay Opening Due to Hurricane

In preparation for the potential impact of Hurricane Ian, all schools in West Alabama will be closed on Thursday, September 29th and Friday, September 30th.

The decision was made out of an abundance of caution to ensure the safety of students and staff. Hurricane Ian is expected to bring heavy rain, strong winds, and possible flooding to the area.

All after-school activities and athletic events have also been canceled for Thursday and Friday.
