LDS missionaries get special service opportunity for BYU-SMU football game

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced that missionaries serving in the Utah Salt Lake City South Mission will have the opportunity to serve as "honorary" missionaries at the BYU-SMU football game on Saturday, September 24, 2022.

The missionaries will be assisting with a variety of tasks, including greeting fans, distributing programs, and helping with crowd control.

This is a great opportunity for the missionaries to serve their community and share their message with others. The missionaries will be wearing their missionary badges and will be available to answer questions about their faith.

The BYU-SMU football game is one of the most anticipated events of the year in Provo, Utah. The game will be held at LaVell Edwards Stadium on the campus of Brigham Young University.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has a long history of supporting BYU athletics. The Church owns and operates BYU, and many of the university's students are members of the Church.

The missionaries' service at the BYU-SMU football game is a great example of the Church's commitment to community service. The missionaries will be providing a valuable service to the fans and helping to make the game a more enjoyable experience for everyone.
